Mindy Weber

Mindy Weber is a Recruiter for The K12 Search Group. Prior to joining The K12 Search Group, Mindy spent over four years at TNTP, a national nonprofit organization that develops customized programs and policy interventions that enable education leaders to find, develop, and keep great teachers. Most recently, Mindy served as Director of Talent Recruitment for TNTP, where she was responsible for developing a strong talent pipeline for staff openings across the country. She also spent several years as Site Director for Texas Teaching Fellows- Austin, a partnership between TNTP and Austin area school districts, where she oversaw the recruitment, selection, and training of talented career changers to work in high needs schools and subject areas.

Before joining TNTP, Mindy served as Director of Summerbridge in Providence, Rhode Island. Summerbridge is a program designed to create a pathway to college for low-income, academically motivated middle school students and encourage talented high school and college students to pursue careers in education.

Mindy’s career in education began as a Teach For America corps member in Louisiana, teaching elementary and middle school students with special needs. She also worked with Boston Public School’s Center for Leadership Development. Mindy has a graduate degree in public policy from Brown University and received her BA in Political Science from Stephens College. Mindy, her husband, and their three children live in Austin.
